Robert Porter "Bob" McKimson Sr. (October 13, 1910 – September 29, 1977) was an American animator, illustrator and director known for his work at Warner Bros. for the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies theatrical shorts. He directed various cartoons with Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Foghorn Leghorn, Hippety Hopper, Sylvester and his son Sylvester Jr., Speedy Gonzales, and the Tasmanian Devil, among others characters.
McKimson died on September 29, 1977, at the age of 66.
