Cat's Paw is the three hundred and ninety-seventh Looney Tunes theatrical short. It was distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures and The Vitaphone Corporation on August 15, 1959. It was written by Tedd Pierce, produced by John W. Burton and directed by Robert McKimson.
To help his son earn a cat scout bird stalking merit badge, Sylvester goes to capture a baby eagle. However, the baby is none other than a dwarf eagle, who turns out to be a dangerous species for the cat.
