Hippety Hopper is a young kangaroo and recurring character of the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies theatrical shorts. He is often paired with Sylvester, whom he encounters and is mistaken by Sylvester for being a giant mouse. He is also paired with a third character in his appearances, namely Sylvester Jr., who also mistakes Hoppy for a mouse. Although he is mostly a silent character, his voice was originated in records by Mel Blanc using an Australian accent.[2][3]
