Behind the scenes
- As a remake of Porky's Badtime Story, this short has some differences:
- This one is produced in Technicolor, while Badtime Story was made in black-and-white.
- Daffy fills the role as Porky's close friend, as opposed to Gabby Goat in the previous short.
- The building Porky and Daffy work at is an aircraft company named Fly-By-Nite Aircraft Co., instead of Peter Piper Pickled Peppers like in the previous short.
- Porky and Daffy's company boss is a human instead of an anthropomorphic dog.
- The boss makes a reference to the Dover Boys from the theatrical short of the same name, instead of the Rover Boys; which the Dover Boys are a parody of.
- Porky tries to throw a book titled The Falcon at the cats and dogs, instead of throwing a boot a third time like in the previous short.
- The scene where Porky and Gabby try to swat a mosquito is omitted.
- A new scene of Daffy shooting the moon with a blunderbuss shotgun is added.
- Porky uses a single-barrel rifle to silence an alarm clock, rather than smashing it with a wooden mallet.
