How Bugs Bunny Won the West is a western-themed special starring Bugs Bunny and other characters from the Looney Tunes cartoons. It aired on November 15, 1978 on CBS. It was written by Marc Sheffler and Hal Geer, and directed by Geer.
Like most Looney Tunes specials released at the time, it is a compilation of classic Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies shorts, with newly made animated and live-action segments bridging in between. The live action segments were hosted by actor Denver Pyle, who also narrates this special.
