Detailed summary
Memorable quotes
Barnyard: What's the matter, buster?
Henery: I'm a chickenhawk and I just caught my first chicken: you!
Barnyard: I'm no chicken, There's a chicken.
Foghorn: These kids comin' up nowadays. Don't even know how to tie down their pumpkins. Why, when I was a boy... Say, I never tied down any pumpkins. Hey, son! Watcha tyin' down a pumpkin for? (Foghorn's face is smacked by a pumpkin) Ask a silly question, get a silly answer.
Foghorn: Oh, Mr. Chickenhawk! Don't take me home! I don't wanna roast in any ol' black oven! I'm scared of the dark!
Henery: Would you rather be fried on top of a stove?
Foghorn: I'm too tough, son. No white meat; just gristle. Feel my wing. I was young and tender once... Feel my wing like I told ya, boy! But that was long ago. Now, if you want, I say, if you want somethin' tender, get a nice pheasant! Pheasant under glass! There's good eatin'! Any of this gettin' through to ya, son?
Henery: Okay, pheasant! Your time has come.
Barnyard: Pheasant, schmeasant. What are you, a pheasant hawk?
Henery: No, I'm a chickenhawk.
Barnyard: So, what's with pheasants? You need a chicken. Unhook my collar; I'll show ya how to get a chicken!
Henery: I don't care who wins. I'll fricassee the loser.
