Detailed summary
Memorable quotes
Tough rooster: If dat's who I think it is, there's a soiten banty rooster who's going to get booted over the horizon!
Foghorn: What in, I say, what in the name of Jesse James do you supposed that is?
(The banty rooster holds a sign reading, "Like - I'm an orphan")
Foghorn: Well, whaddya know? A tiny foundlin' rooster. Why, he is small as the little end of nothin' sharpened.
Banty rooster: Da, da - daddy-o...
Banty rooster: Man, you're a weirdo chick.
Barnyard: Hey, boy, here she comes now! Ain't she an angel?
Banty: Like, link us man, link us!
Barnyard: Then I pronounce you husband and wife, or somethin'.
Foghorn: But I’m a rooster!
Banty: Don’t let it bug you man, like, we can’t all be perfect.

Behind the scenes
- The title is a play on "panty raids." You're welcome.
- The MPAA certificate number is 19915.
- Foghorn is revealed to work as a superintendent of the barnyard, as evident by the sign of his office ("Foghorn Leghorn, sup't.")
- The last pieces of dialogue in the short—consisting of the banty rooster saying "... we can’t all be perfect" after Foghorn protests that he's a rooster—is a reference to the final scene of the 1959 film Some Like It Hot, in which Joe E. Brown' character caps off that film by saying, "Well, nobody's perfect."
Errors
Legacy
- This cartoon marked the last "classic-era" cartoon appearances of both Foghorn Leghorn and Barnyard Dawg. Although, Foghorn would make cameo appearances in the 1964 short False Hare, and the Bugs Bunny's Looney Christmas Tales segment in Bugs Bunny's Christmas Carol, his next major appearance was in The Yolks on You, a segment of the Daffy Duck's Easter Egg-citement TV special.
- While cut for time, the short was used as part of Foghorn's wish in the film Daffy Duck's Fantastic Island.
