The Grey Hounded Hare is the two hundred and fifty-seventh Looney Tunes theatrical short. It was distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures and The Vitaphone Corporation on August 6, 1949. It was produced by Edward Selzer, written by Warren Foster, and directed by Robert McKimson.
When Bugs learns that a female rabbit is being chased by racetrack dogs, he vows to save her, but he's not aware that its actually a mechanical lure.
