Cats A-Weigh! is the three hundred and seventy-third Merrie Melodies theatrical short. It was released by Warner Bros. Pictures and The Vitaphone Corporation on November 28, 1953. It was produced by Edward Selzer, written by Tedd Pierce, and directed by Robert McKimson.
Hoping to live a better life at sea rather than on the streets, Sylvester Jr. and his father take on the jobs of mouse catchers on a marines warship. While on duty, Junior chases a mouse into a large crate and mistakes Hippety Hopper for a giant mouse.
