Beep Prepared is the four hundred and seventy-first Merrie Melodies theatrical short. It was distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures on November 11, 1961. It was written by John Dunn and Chuck Jones, produced by David H. DePatie, and directed by Jones.
After getting beeped off the cliff by the Road Runner, Wile E. Coyote tries different methods to catch him, including a kit for a giant rocket sled.

- The final attempt and ending of this short are used for the last moments of The Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Movie.
Critical reception
The short was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Animated Short in 1962, making it the only Road Runner/Wile E. Coyote installment to recieve this recognition. However, it lost to Yugoslav short film Surogat, which won the award that year.
