Behind the Scenes

  • The title is another hair/hare pun. This time, it is a pun of 'compressed hair'.
  • The backgrounds used for this cartoon had the yellow sky scenery from the several Road Runner shorts, including Zoom and Bored, Hook, Line and Stinker and up to Fastest with the Mostest.
  • During the scene where Wile E. prepares a giant magnet machine, there is an unopened crate box with the label "Zajaxi Dynamos." It's unknown if the label on the box is referring to a specific brand and/or product.
  • The lobby cards of this cartoon contains stills from two shorts: Lickety-Splat and A Sheep in the Deep.

Legacy

  • The ending of this short would be recycled in DePatie–Freleng's Inspector entry, Transylvania Mania, of which the Inspector concludes by saying, "You know, we are the first country to send a castle to the moon."
