Release
Dates are in order of release:
- United States: August 17, 1963 in theatres
Behind the scenes
- The title is a pun on "chilly weather."
- This is the first Merrie Melodies cartoon in which the editing was done by Lee Gunther instead than Treg Brown, who would eventually do the editing for the shorts when DePatie-Freleng Enterprises got the rights to make Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies shorts until 1967.
- Most of the factory footage and machinery are recycled from I Gopher You
Errors
- The end card has the Looney Tunes branding, though the 1955-64 version of "Merrily We Roll Along" theme plays over it. This is likely a mistake on the part of the film editors before its original theatrical release.
- It happened again in the Looney Tunes short Nuts and Volts, meaning that these outro sequences might have been mixed up.
