Behind the scenes

  • This is the last short in the golden age of American animation to feature the Three Bears.
  • This is one of the few Warner Bros. cartoons in which Mel Blanc does not provide a voice for any character.
  • Unlike the previous Three Bears cartoons, this short does not start with a standard narration.
  • Junior is revealed to be seven and a half years old.

Connections

  • The gag where Junior misspells tobacco as G-U-N-P-O-W-D-E-R would be repeated in Cat-Tails for Two, where Benny misspells water as P-E-T-R-O-L.
