Behind the scenes
- The title is a pun ofn the phrase, "Stop, look and listen."
- This is one of the rare instances where a Warner Bros. cartoon ends differently, with the Road Runner writing "That's all folks!" in smoke.
- The Burmese tiger has a mock Latin name in this short: Surprisibus! Surprisibus!
Errors
Legacy
- The roadwall, bird seed on bridge, and leg muscle vitamins scenes (minus the ending) were used in The Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Movie.
- The opening scene where Wile E. walks through the desert is used in the TV special Bugs Bunny's Thanksgiving Diet.
- The roadwall is used as an obstacle in the video game Desert Demolition.
In popular culture
- In the 1980 film The Shining, a selection of this cartoon can be heard when Danny watches it on the TV, when her mother Wendy tells him about staying about the Overlook Hotel. In a later scene, the same cartoon is heard in bits on another TV, when Wendy tells her son that she will be leaving to check on Jack.
