Sam Sheepdog is an anthropomorphic dog and recurring character in the Looney Tunes animated franchise. He is often paired with Ralph Wolf, and works in a blue-collar job where he watches sheep. His voice originated by Mel Blanc.
Character description
Sam Sheepdog is a large, burly Briard with light tan fur and a mop of red hair that usually covers his eyes. He very rarely runs and tends to be sedentary in his movements. In spite of his apparent immobility, Sam possesses enough strength to incapacitate Ralph with a single punch. He usually talks in the beginning and end of the cartoons, but is generally silent for the most part.
