Looney Tunes Cartoons is an American animated television series produced by Warner Bros Animation for Max, formerly HBO Max. It is based on the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies series of the theatrical shorts that ran from 1930 to 1969. It made its worldwide debut at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival on June 10, 2019,[1] and ran from 2020 to 2023, airing 81 episode that spanned six seasons.
The series serves as a reboot of the aforementioned theatrical cartoons, though unlike previous entries, it specifically made in spirit to the shorts from the 1940s.
