  • The MPAA certificate number is 7517.
  • This is the last short Bob Clampett directed under the "Katz" unit, which would be given tor Norman McCabe the same year. Clampett would continue directing cartoons using Tex Avery's former unit from that point onward.
  • Some of the backgrounds used in the short are photographs of New York City and Los Angeles.
  • The hotel Porky lives is named Termite Terrace, after the informal name given by Tex Avery's crew in reference to the Warner Bros. cartoon studio.
  • The short entered the public domain in 1969 due to Warner Bros.-Seven Arts not renewing its copyright in time.
