Memorable quotes
Clerk: Dad-burnit, a dad-burned boarding house ain't no dad-burned place to play dad-burn cowboy! Now get out and stay out, dad-burnit 'n burnit 'n burnit and I mean dad-burnit!
Egghead: I'm a rootin', tootin', shootin', snoopin', high-salutin', tootin', shootin', rootin' cowboy, fella! And I saw your ad, so I came for the job. Because, because, because, because, TODAY, I am a man!

Errors
Legacy
- Egghead would appear in three more cartoons, all of which were released in 1938, including Daffy Duck & Egghead, A-Lad-In Bagdad, and Count Me Out.
- In all three of these shorts, he instead has a vocal resemblance to comedian Joe Penner and a set of black hair.
- He also appeared on rare occasions in later Looney Tunes media, including the films Daffy Duck's Quackbusters and Looney Tunes: Back in Action. However, in a lot of those instances, he takes on the physical and personality attributes of the prototypical Elmer Fudd (from before 1940's Elmer's Candid Camera), instead of his appearances from his initial four theatrical entries. Furthermore, both Egghead and Elmer's prototype are often confused as being the same character before the latter's appearance in Candid Camera.
