Catty Cornered is the three hundred and seventy-second Merrie Melodies theatrical short. It was released by Warner Bros. Pictures and The Vitaphone Corporation on October 3, 1953. It was produced by Edward Selzer, written by Warren Foster, and directed by Friz Freleng.
Tweety, being a million dollar bird, has been birdnapped by Rocky and his minion Nick. Sylvester vows to save the bird from the two gangsters, but will he do it in the name of justice or lunch?

Behind the scenes
- The although the title is spelled differently, it is similar to that of the 1946 Looney Tunes short, Kitty Kornered.
- This is also one of the few cartoons where Tweety doesn't say his signature catchphrase "I tawt I taw a putty tat"; Rocky and Nick say this line instead.
- The scene at the end of the cartoon, which involves Sylvester eating Tweety before the mayor smacks Sylvester to drop him out, was largely repurposed from Gift Wrapped.
Everlasting influence
- This short would be used in The Looney Looney Looney Bugs Bunny Movie and in The Bugs Bunny Mystery Special.
- Rocky would kidnap Tweety once again in The Sylvester & Tweety Mysteries episode, The Cat Who Knew Too Much, only this time, Rocky's sidekick is the idiotic Mugsy as opposed to the smart Nick.
