Porky's Badtime Story is the ninetieth short of the Looney Tunes theatrical series. It was distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures and The Vitaphone Corporation on July 24, 1937. It was written by Bob Clampett, produced by Leon Schlesinger, and directed by Clampett with Chuck Jones as assistant director.
Porky and Gabby attempt to sleep early so they could get to work in time. However, a series of interruptions wake them up in every turn.

Music
The main title theme, "Porky's Signature", and score were composed by Carl W. Stalling. The ending title theme is a variation of "Porky's Signature", making this short the first and one of the few late 1930s cartoons that use this particular theme.

- This is the first Looney Tunes short to use a zooming sound effect for the Warner Bros. shield at the opening titles.

- The company boss refers to Porky and Gabby as the Rover Boys, the titular brothers from a series of adventure books by Edward Stratemeyer.
