- The title is a play on the 1903 film The Great Train Robbery.
- This is the second and final short to feature Bunny and Claude. And as since these two cartoons were cut into two parts, hence making the shortened single-length Bunny and Claude (We Rob Carrot Patches) have an "abrupt ending" and this cartoon to be its sequel.
- The MPAA certificate number is 21962.
- This is the last Warner Bros. cartoon in the "classic era" to feature Mel Blanc.
