Behind the scenes

  • This cartoon was inspired from the 1967 film, Bonnie and Clyde.
    • The title is a play on the line "We rob banks," also from the film.
  • The MPAA certificate number is 21922.
  • Beginning with this cartoon and the remaining ones produced until 1969, all shorts from Warner Bros.-Seven Arts Animation would be directed by Robert McKimson, rather than Alex Lovy. It is also the only McKimson-directed cartoon released in 1968.
  • Although the short was submitted for an Academy Award in 1968, it was never nominated.
