Road Runner II: Wile E.'s Revenge, or Wile E. Coyote's Revenge, was an unreleased side-scrolling platform game developed by Software Creations, based on the Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner cartoons of the Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies series. The game was meant to be a sequel to the game, Road Runner's Death Valley Rally. It was planned to be released by Sunsoft for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, but due to the closure of Sunsoft's American offices from bankruptcy, the game was cancelled.[1] The original concept was created by Rene Boutin and Mark Dawson.
The player controls Wile E. Coyote with the sole aim of catching the Road Runner.

In 2007, the game's producer, Rene Boutin, gave a basic overview of the game on the website SNES Central, explaining that Wile E. would have run around a level collecting parts for a contraption. In the next level, the coyote would have built the contraption and be able to use it. He described the overall concept as being "a kind of fervent fast racing type of gameplay with SOME elements of platformers."[1]
A prototype ROM was leaked on July 1995, with the first demo level taking place in a desert, though the game would crash after the player had lost or completed it.[1] A later ROM of the game (provided by Rene Boutin) was more complete, consisting of more levels that were close to being finished.[1]
