Behind the scenes
- The title is both a play on the fairy tale story, Jack and the Beanstalk. And the words, "jack-rabbit," which is a desert hare, is written like how Elmer Fudd would pronounce it.
- During the opening credit sequence, a staked sign identifies the garden vegetable as: Marvel Brand (Inc.) Early Climber Beans Julian & Co. Packers. Julian, which is a reference to the background artist Paul Julian.
Everlasting Influence
- Chuck Jones would later do another Bugs Bunny-themed Jack and the Beanstalk parody of his own in the 1955 Merrie Melodies cartoon, Beanstalk Bunny.
