Detailed summary
Memorable quotes
Paw: Hiya, maw...
Maw: Hello, paw... Coffee's poured.
Paw: Got a turkey fer ya, maw.
Maw: For Thanksgiving, paw?
Paw: Yep. We'll just have enough time to fatten him up. You go get some grub for him and uh... I'll put him out in the yard.
Daffy: Hold it, Thomas! Boy, am I glad I was in time to save you.
Tom: Save me from what?
Daffy: This food! I've seen it come and I've seen it go; don't you see what their little game it is? They want you to get all fattened up for Thanksgiving, so they give you all of this food, and you eat and eat until you're nice and fat! Then on Thanksgiving, They get the axe. They stick you in an old hot stove. The next thing you know, you're on a table; it's time to carve. He picks up the knife! He starts toward ya, and THEN... Hey, Thomas? Thomas? Thoma-a-a-as?! Where'd you go?
Daffy: Well, here it is! Thanksgiving Day and you're as safe as a bug in a rug, thanks to me. (to audience) What a wreck!
Paw: Land's sakes, hmm... This turkey's sure a bony lookin' critter. Don't look healthy to me.
Daffy: Yeah, ain't he a mess? To bad, he ain't healthy like me. Here, look at this thing. Did you see a wing like that on a duck before? Yessir, I'm all fat, tender duck! Now take this drumstick for instance. Ain't that a beauty? Yeah, but it's a shame you can't eat duck on Thanksgiving... or can ya?
Paw: Is that duck cooked yet, maw?
Maw: No, and it don't like it ever will be. I keep a-lightin' the matches and he keeps a-blowin' them out.
