Behind the scenes

  • This was the last cartoon in the golden age to pair Bugs with Wile E.
  • Wile E. doesn't speak in this short, as per usual with his pairings with the Road Runner. It is the only Bugs & Wile E. short to have done so.
  • While Wile E. typically uses Acme products in an attempt to catch his prey, he doesn't in this short. However, Bugs decides to use an Acme product against him.
  • Scenes involving Bugs' "extra burst" of speed are recycled animations from Lickety-Splat and Hip Hip-Hurry!.
