Animaniacs, also known as Steven Spielberg Presents: Animaniacs, is an American animated series created by Amblin Television and Warner Bros. Animation for Fox Kids, then the Kids' WB Saturday morning block on The WB for the remaining half of its run. It ran from 1993 to 1998, airing 99 episodes that spanned five seasons. A spin-off of the series, titled Pinky and the Brain, ran concurrently from 1995 to 1998.
After being locked away in a water tower for 60 years, the Warner siblings – consisting of brothers Yakko & Wakko, and their sister Dot – escape to cause mayhem both within and outside the Warner Bros. film backlot.
The series was split into several segments which featured characters other than the Warner siblings, including Pinky and the Brain, Rita and Runt, Slappy Squirrel and Skippy, the Goodfeathers, and several others. Various characters from the Looney Tunes franchise also appear in this series in cameos.
The entire series has been released on DVD.

Opening Theme Lyrics
It's time for Ani-mani-acs!
And we're zany to the max!
So just sit back and relax,
You'll laugh 'till you collapse
We're Animaniacs!
Yakko and Wakko: Come join the Warner Brothers
Dot: And the Warner Sister, Dot!
Just for fun we run around the Warner movie lot!
They lock us in the tower,
Whenever we get caught
Then we break loose, and go vamoose,
and now you know the plot
We're Ani-mani-acs!
Dot is cute, and Yakko yaks
Wakko packs away the snacks,
While Bill Clinton plays the sax
We're Animaniacs!
Meet Pinky and the Brain, who wanna rule the universe
Goodfeathers flock together, Slappy whacks them with her purse
Buttons chases Mindy, while Rita sings a verse
The writers flipped,
We have no script,
Why bother to rehearse?
We're Ani-mani-acs!
We have pay or play contracts!
We're zany to the max,
There's bologna in our slacks
We're ani-mane-y...,
Totally insane-y...
Here's the show's name-y...,
Ani-mani-acs!
Those are the facts!
