Pop 'im Pop! is the two hundred and seventy-eighth Looney Tunes theatrical short. It was distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures and The Vitaphone Corporation on October 28, 1950. It was written by Warren Foster, produced by Edward Selzer, and directed by Robert McKimson.

When Gracie the Fighting Kangaroo is called to do her act, her son, Hippety Hopper, decides to take some boxing gloves and goes out wandering around the city. Meanwhile, Sylvester claims to his son that he can take on any giant mouse.

The working title for this cartoon was "Is Everybody Hoppy?"
When Sylvester Junior alerts his father to the presence of Hippety, Sylvester replies 'Oh, come now, kid. I’ll do the thinnin’ around here!' Ten years later, this exact phrase would become a catchphrase of the Hanna-Barbera character Quick Draw McGraw. All episodes of that series were written by Michael Maltese.

Legacy
