Sam Sheepdog is an anthropomorphic wolf and recurring character in the Looney Tunes animated franchise. He is created by Chuck Jones, and works as a "sheep handler" alongside Sam Sheepdog, whose job is to watch the sheep. His voice originated by Mel Blanc.
Character description
Ralph has virtually the same character design as Wile E. Coyote, another creation of Chuck Jones. He has brown fur, a wiry body, and huge ears, but the only changes are his red nose in place of the Coyote's black one; (usually) white eyes instead of the Coyote's yellow ones; and, occasionally, a sharp fang protruding from his mouth. He also shares Wile E.'s appetite and recurring use of Acme Corporation products, but he covets his hunger to sheep instead of roadrunners.
