Behind the scenes
- This is the last Merrie Melodies short to be produced in black-and-white. Beginning with the next entry, Those Beautiful Dames, all cartoons in the series moving forward would be produced in Technicolor.
- This is the first Merrie Melodies short to be directed by Ben Hardaway, and the only one he directed by himself. It is also the last one directed by someone other than Friz Freleng until Page Miss Glory in 1936.
- The short was released alongside the comedy film 6 Day Bike Rider, starring Joe E. Brown.
