• Sam would appear in a few shorts following this one; he appeared twice in The Honey-Mousers and Cheese it, the Cat!, where he antagonizes Ralph Crumden and Ned Morton, and in several run-ins with Sylvester in Tweet and Sour, Trick or Tweet, and Mouse and Garden.
