Porky, working under the French Foreign Legion, is ordered to scrub camels while the other soldiers ride off to find a riffraff on the loose.

- The title is a play on the 1924 novel Beau Geste and its multiple film adaptations. It is also a pun on the nursery rhyme "Little Bo Peep".
- It is also the first animated Warner Bros. short to play on the two subjects, preceding the 1952 Merrie Melodies cartoon Little Beau Pepé.
