Behind the scenes

  • As of this cartoon, it is the last entry to be released under the Merrie Melodies banner.
  • It was originally produced in 1991 for a theatrical release, but was shelved until it aired on Cartoon Network in 1997.
  • The short is a parody of some of the specials produced for Bugs Bunny's 50th anniversary during the previous year.
  • This is one of the only two Warner Bros. animated shorts to have a post-credits scene, the other one being Invasion of the Bunny Snatchers.
  • Disney's Huey, Duwey and Louie are indirectly referenced when Daffy complains that Warner Bros. might be giving him three nephews.
