I Gopher You is the three hundred and tenth Merrie Melodies theatrical short. It was released by Warner Bros. Pictures and The Vitaphone Corporation on January 30, 1954. It was written by Warren Foster, produced by Edward Selzer, and directed by Friz Freleng.

While tending to the vegetable gardens, the Goofy Gophers are shocked to discover that their vegetables have been stolen. They track at the Ajax vegetable plant, where they try to find a way of bringing all of their food back home.

Behind the scenes

• The title is a gopher-themed pun of the phrase, "I go for you."
• This is the first short in which Mac and Tosh don't face antagonistic characters, such as dogs or humans. The other cartoon with a similar nature is the 1955 Looney Tunes short, Lumber Jerks.

Everlasting Influence

• The factory setting animations would later be reused in the 1963 Merrie Melodies cartoons Chili Weather and The Unmentionables.
