The High and the Flighty is the four hundred and fifth Merrie Melodies theatrical short. It was distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures and The Vitaphone Corporation on January 14, 1956. It was written by Tedd Pierce, produced by Edward Selzer, and directed by Robert McKimson.
Daffy, working as a salesman for the Ace Novelty Company, stops by the farm where Foghorn and Barnyard Dawg live. Daffy intervenes by selling his products to both parties, in a series of brutal practical jokes.
