Behind the scenes

  • The MPAA certificate number is 1839.
  • Porky Pig, Little Kitty, and Oliver Owl appear in the opening titles, but not in the short.
  • Unlike Ham and Ex's previous appearances in I Haven't Got a Hat, where they are depicted as naked, this is the first short to have them in clothing.
  • This is the first Looney Tunes short to feature the zooming WB shield in the opening title, and the first to have "VITAPHONE presents." The WB shield would be mainly used in all shorts by Warner Bros. Cartoons until 1964, while the "VITAPHONE presents" byline would be featured until the 1939 short Daffy Duck and the Dinosaur.
