The Chocolate Chase is the five hundred and thirtieth short of the Merrie Melodies theatrical series, which originally came as the second segment in the Daffy Duck's Easter Egg-citement television special. It aired on April 1, 1980 on CBS. It was written, produced and directed by Friz Freleng.

When the owner of a chocolate factory puts Daffy in charge of guarding it and refuses to give any of the poor mice children any chocolate Easter Bunnies, the Mexican mice send for Speedy Gonzales to collect all the bunnies for them.
