Memorable quotes
Goodwill: You wouldn't think I was Lawyer Goodman now, would you? I'm going to get rid of those pigs and you can't help them either! You bunch of softies! Yeah, you in the third row! You big softie!
Goodwill: And as soon as I can get Porky and Petunia up here, I'll do away with all of you, like this! (imitates a slit throat) See? And if that guy in the third row comes up, I'll fix him too! You big cream puff!
Porky: G-g-gee, Petunia. I s-s-saw the most t-t-t-te-awful l-l-looking man. All b-b-big, and b-b-black, and big teeth, and g-g-great big, long b-b-black nose, and...
Porky and his siblings: Who did that?
Guy in the third row: Me!
Goodwill: Who are you?
Guy in the third row: I'm the guy in the third row, ya big sourpuss!

Behind the scenes
- The title is a play on the Perry Mason film The Case of the Stuttering Bishop, which came out a few months before the short.
- Although both films feature a lawyer character, the cartoon has no relationship to the Warner Bros. Perry Mason feature apart from the clever title.
- The MPAA certificate number is 3666.
- It is the first Warner Bros. theatrical cartoon to directly parody the Robert Louis Stevenson novella Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.
- This is the only short that portrays Petunia Pig as Porky's sister. That aspect was never brought up again following the short.
