Arthur Quirk Bryan was an American actor known for voicing Elmer Fudd in the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies theatrical cartoons.
He began his acting career in 1926, working on various radio comedies such as the Fibber McGee and Molly program, in which he portrayed the character Dr. Gamble. He started work for the Warner Bros. in 1939, where he originated a voice (for the cartoon Dangerous Dan McFoo) that would become synonymous with Elmer's unique speech patterns.
Bryan died on November 30, 1959 from a sudden heart attack, at the age of 60.
