  • The title is a pun of Robert Louis Stevenson's horror story, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
  • This is Bugs Bunny's final short in the Merrie Melodies series and the final cartoon where he is paired with Taz, as this was also his final appearance in the Golden Age of Animation.
    • Additionally, this is the only time where Bugs Bunny and Taz both lose in the end.
