Freeze Frame is a television short and the second segment in the Bugs Bunny's Looney Christmas Tales television special. It first aired on November 27, 1979 on CBS. It was written by John Dunn and directed by Chuck Jones.
Wile E. Coyote (grotesques-appetitus), reads an important piece of information regarding the weak points of the Road Runner (semper food-ellus): While it is true that Road Runners love the hot desert, they actually hate the cold, snowy weather of winter time. For they can be easily caught in snow drifts. So he decides to user wintery-tactics to try and catch the bird for his Christmas Dinner.
