Adventures of the Road-Runner is an animated short film, which was originally intended to be a pilot for a television series starring Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner. It was distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures on June 2, 1962. It was written by John Dunn, Chuck Jones and Michael Maltese, produced by David H. DePatie, and directed by Jones, Maurice Noble and Tom Ray.
Two boys watch the Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote's chases on their TV set and question why the coyote wants the Road Runner so badly, to which While E. explains in exact detail.
