Chili Weather is the four-hundred and eighty-sixth Merrie Melodies theatrical short. It was distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures on August 17, 1963. It was written by John Dunn, produced by David H. DePatie, and directed by Friz Freleng.

When the Mexican Mice of Guadalajara want to eat all of the food from the Food Processing Plant, they rely on Speedy Gonzales to get the food for them. Only his plan is thwarted by Sylvester who then chases him throughout the factory.

  • The title is a pun of 'chilly weather'.
  • This is the first Merrie Melodies cartoon in which the editing was done by Lee Gunther rather than Treg Brown, he would eventually do the editing for the shorts when DePatie-Freleng Enterprises got the rights to make more Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies shorts until 1967.
  • Most of the Guadalajara Food Processing Plant factory footage where vegetables are processed and most of the machinery are recycled animation from the 1954 cartoon, I Gopher You
