Behind the scenes

  • Bugs and Daffy have known each other for 17 years and that they have been roommates for five years.
  • Bugs' "backstory" is a reference to Superman's origin story and parodies the version seen in the 1978 Superman film.
    • John William's score of the film is also used in this scene.
  • Daffy's middle name is Sheldon, but he prefers Armando because it sounds cooler.
  • Bugs' favorite type of music is smooth jazz.
  • Bugs' favorite holiday is Thanksgiving.
  • The birth dates of Bugs and Daffy, July 27th and April 17th, respectively, are the same dates of their respective debuts in the Warner Bros. theatrical shorts; July 27 was when Bugs first appeared in A Wild Hare in 1940, while April 17 was when Daffy debuted in Porky's Duck Hunt in 1937.
  • Daffy gets Bugs' catchphrase wrong by questioning it was "I don't do Mondays." This is a reference to Garfield, the cat from the titular comic strip known for his hatred for Mondays.
  • The Warner Bros. Water Tower makes a cameo when Bugs and Daffy's heads get stuck through the ceiling of the game show.
