Talk:Suffragette City

Even if this did entertain the kid who happened to be watching this on Hulu, I just find it insufferable. I don't have any empathy for Dot making a big deal about a toon's right to vote. And this is them giving their political voice as they love doing, but in this particular case, I just don't see the point of it. I think I could see it working more in something like Roger Rabbit where the toons were supposed to be living alongside real people. And that's my opinion of this that has nothing to do with its place in the wiki. JamesIsHere (talk) 19:30, 28 March 2025 (UTC)

Of course, I like all the cameos. JamesIsHere (talk) 19:31, 28 March 2025 (UTC)
Politics is not my strongest suit of any conversation I have, but doesn't it feel kinda weird that this segment feels off when the second portion felt a forced with the whole "cartoon characters pushing for voting rights" plot? Had it stayed more consistent with the first half being about the women's sufferage movement or the second half, it would've been stronger in the segment's narrative. This may have just been an opinion, but at least the cameos are fun. --QuestJ65 (talk) 23:10, 28 March 2025 (UTC)
