Bosko, the Talk-Ink Kid is a live-action/animated short produced to sell cartoons starring Bosko, who would later become the first star of the Looney Tunes series of theatrical shorts. It was created in May 1929. It was produced and directed by Hugh Harman and Rudolf Ising, the founders of Harman-Ising Productions and creators of the series.
It was never released in theatres,[1] and was therefore not shown publicly until in the ToonHeads episode "The Lost Cartoons" on March 12, 2000, in edited form. It was first shown in its full length on the Looney Tunes Golden Collection: Volume 1 DVD set on October 28, 2003, as a bonus feature.
