Birds of a Father is the four hundred and sixteenth Looney Tunes theatrical short. It was distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures on April 1, 1961. It was written by Dave Detiege, produced by John W. Burton and David H. DePatie, and directed by Robert McKimson.

Sylvester Jr. is friends with a little bird named Spike. But when his father wants him to be a real cat, he must endure Sylvester's father-son lessons of how to chase, catch and eat birds. And Spike becomes Sylvester's target for his lessons!
