Warner Bros. Television Studios, operating under the name Warner Bros. Television, is an American television production and distribution studio of the Warner Bros. Television Group, itself a division of the primary Warner Bros. Entertainment company. It was founded on March 21, 1955 by actor and producer William T. Orr. They are notable for producing and releasing various Looney Tunes television programs, in addition to being the parent company of Warner Bros. Animation. The studio is also notable for programs related to Hanna-Barbera and MGM's properties, particularly the Scooby-Doo and Tom and Jerry franchises, and series based on DC Comics characters.
