Porky's Duck Hunt is the eighty sixth Looney Tunes theatrical short, starring Porky Pig and Daffy Duck, the latter making what is considered to be his first onscreen appearance.[1] It was released by Warner Bros. Pictures and The Vitaphone Corporation on December 12, 1938. It was produced by Leon Schlesinger and directed by Tex Avery.
Porky goes on duck hunting, but is greeted by a mischievous, insane duck on his way.

- It is the first short in which Mel Blanc voices Porky Pig, instead of his original voice actor Joe Dougherty, who had been fired after the cartoon Porky's Romance because he could not control his stutter.
