Speedy Gonzales: Los Gatos Bandidos is a Super Nintendo Entertainment System game starring Speedy Gonzales of the Looney Tunes theatrical cartoons. It was developed by Acclaim Entertainment and released by Sunsoft on August 1995.
During a Cinco De Mayo celebration, Los Gatos Banditos (led by Sylvester the cat) capture all of the mice and plan to have them for supper and ship them out overseas. When Slowpoke Rodriguez informs his cousin Speedy of the events the transpired, he vows to rescue all of the mice and stop Los Gatos Banditos.
Gameplay
Players play as Speedy Gonzales and can access a short-range kick for attacking and can occasionally pick up items for usage at a later time in the game. The game is full of bottomless pits, which kill players instantly. Getting locked up in a cage also causes players to lose a life. Spikes also have the ability to instantly kill the player. Enemies such as Sylvester and Robocat appear in this game.
The gameplay in Speedy Gonzales resembles that of Sonic the Hedgehog.
